My Story
I am a native Ohioan. I grew up in Danbury and went through high school at the Danbury School System. I recently moved back to the Marblehead Peninsula for good and have been living here full time since September 2013.
I am a Solo Guitarist/Singer. I perform with a double neck (12-String & 6-String) Ovation acoustic guitar and a separate 12-String Elite Ovation acoustic. I also use a harmony generator that gives me very good background vocals in real time making it sound like several people singing with me.
I have an extensive song list ranging from classic rock to country to folk to currents hits. I have over 400 songs on my list that I can do at any time and I’m constantly adding new ones. This allows me great flexibility in taking requests and tailoring my performance to the crowd. I can also learn songs for special occasions/requests.
I began playing and singing as a child. I played my first professional gig when I was 12. I joined the Air Force in 1982 and retired from the Air Force after serving 23 1/2 years. I lived overseas for 9 years (2 in Turkey and 7 in Germany) and I’ve performed professionally on 3 continents and in 10 different countries, not just on American bases but in more than 100 civilian venues. When I left Germany I performed in Colorado Springs for more than 14 years.
In 1996 I recorded my first album of original music for Renegade Records at a recording studio in Reichenbach-Steegen Germany. It was released in February 1997. It did very well and I appeared on German TV to support the album.
I have done a lot of work for charity including support for Juvenile Diabetes, Cystic Fibrosis and several smaller organizations.
I was hired to open up for Fire Fall at the Colorado Music Hall while living and performing in Colorado Springs. I performed this past summer at Rosie's, Docks, The Bait House and on Put-In-Bay at the Fish Bowl. I have also recently added
Cleats, The Lighthouse Resort at Ritskis, The Jamestown Tavern and Wee Willy's in Marblehead, The Catawba Inn, The Catawba Island Brewing Company and Rosie's in Port Clinton to my booking list.
