music in the 4th grade, picking up the guitar in 1978. A few years later he decided to try his talents at percussion. Gary has a wide range of musical talents including vocals, guitar, harmonica, drums, trumpet, bass guitar and the keyboard. Over the years he has played in many bands all over the world. In Ohio he was a member of Quad, Jam Packed and Crystal Pearl. When Gary joined the US Air Force he was assigned to Turkey where he play in the band Wild Turkey, a mostly country band. From there he was stationed in Alabama where he was a member of Southern Breeze; a classic rock and country band. A this point he started writing his own music. The Air Force once again moved him, this time to Germany where he formed an acoustic duo with another "Gary"; appropriately titled Gary & Gary. In August 1996, Gary recorded his first CD, titled "Givin' It Back" at the May Sound Studio in
Reichenbach-Steegen, Germany. Givin' It Back was released on February 28 1997 and promptly sold out the first order in 20 minutes. While in Europe, Gary played in 7 countries and has thousands of fans. |
